Hundreds of poems later, LaMon is now an award-winning author who was recently appointed associate dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and was selected as a 2019 BAU Institute Fellow.

Ellen Hagan, adjunct professor, has co-led ¹û½´ÊÓÆµ's Alice Hoffman Young Writers Retreat for high school students every July for the past 17 years. But Hagan is active outside of her work at ¹û½´ÊÓÆµ. She's an educator, performer, author of two poetry collections, and now an author of a young-adult novel.
