Professor Robert F.听Bornstein听is the recipient of the distinguished Martin Mayman Award from the . The award was presented to him at the Society’s annual meeting in San Diego last week. 听

The Mayman Award is bestowed annually by the Society for Personality Assessment for an article that makes a distinguished contribution to the personality assessment literature as an outstanding case study, qualitative research project, or theoretical development. The Award was granted in recognition of the article, 鈥淩orschach Score Validation as a Model for 21st-Century Personality Assessment,鈥 which was written by Dr. Bornstein as the sole author and appeared in the January Issue (volume 94, #1) of the Journal of Personality Assessment. Dr. Bornstein has won the award twice previously, and is the only person in the history of SPA to have done so. In 2002, he received the award for his paper 鈥淎 process dissociation approach to objective-projective test score interrelationships.听JPA, 78鈥
