We are pleased to launch a distinctive co-curricular partnership with Nassau Community College called the Nassau-¹û½´ÊÓÆµ Gateway.

Beginning fall 2021, students enrolled in Nassau Community College (NCC) will be able to earn their associate degrees while being a part of campus life here at ¹û½´ÊÓÆµ. NCC students have the opportunity toÌýlive on ¹û½´ÊÓÆµ’s campus and participate in University activities, while following streamlined transfer pathways for completing their bachelor’s degrees.

Benefits

The option provides students with the best-of-both-worlds, including affordable tuition by beginning one’s studies at Nassau Community College while taking advantage of the four-year co-curricular ¹û½´ÊÓÆµ experience which includes:

  • The option to live and dine on ¹û½´ÊÓÆµ’s campus
  • Participation in ¹û½´ÊÓÆµ clubs, recreation, and leadership development programs
  • Access to the ¹û½´ÊÓÆµ community and campus facilities
  • On-campus parking at no additional charge
  • Early academicÌýadvising from the ¹û½´ÊÓÆµ Transfer Student Success Team
  • Waived transfer application and deposit fees

Costs

There is no cost to participate in the co-curricular activities as part of this program. NCC students who choose to live on ¹û½´ÊÓÆµ’s campus will pay room and board fees applicable to their housing and meal plan selections. Room and meal plan options can be found onÌýour housing websiteÌýalong with theÌýcurrent year’s housing and meal plan costs.

Registered students within Nassau-¹û½´ÊÓÆµ Gateway are required to pay ¹û½´ÊÓÆµ’s current standard housing rate for the specified room type and any applicable associated fees, including the $35.00 Resident Activities Fee. NCC students will pay housing, dining/meal plan, and residence hall fees to ¹û½´ÊÓÆµ each semester based on the ¹û½´ÊÓÆµ payment schedule for all students.

Yes, NCC students who live on ¹û½´ÊÓÆµâ€™s campus must obtain a meal plan.Ìý There is an additional fee for the meal plan.

Yes, if you are living on ¹û½´ÊÓÆµâ€™s campus, you will have access to the same or similar services.

Financial aid students are encouraged to utilize excess financial aid from NCC to help pay their housing and meal plan charges at ¹û½´ÊÓÆµ. Private and parent PLUS loans may be available to help fill the gap, typically up to the cost of attendance.Ìý

Yes, the shuttle will run between both campuses throughout the week.

As a registered NCC student you will have access to all of NCC’s Student Support Services including advising. Additionally, ¹û½´ÊÓÆµ will provide NCC students who choose to apply to ¹û½´ÊÓÆµ with access to early academic advising from ¹û½´ÊÓÆµâ€™s transfer student success team.

Through the Nassau-¹û½´ÊÓÆµ Gateway program, ¹û½´ÊÓÆµ will provide the following services for NCC students who choose to live on campus:
