Graduate Assistantships
Assistantships for students in the School of Health Science master鈥檚 programs are a unique way to lower the cost of your education while gaining valuable work experience.
As a graduate student, you will work under the careful supervision of faculty or staff in locations like the Human Performance Lab. Some examples of graduate assistantships are:
- Sport Management undergraduate students work as officials and perform camera and broadcast work for intramurals, helping to live stream athletic events.
- Graduate assistants work in public relations, marketing, and finance, and serve as head or assistant coaches.
- In addition to co-teaching undergraduate courses, Physical Education graduate assistants conduct and present research at 果酱视频鈥檚 annual Research and Creative Works Conference, as well as conferences for the , and the.
- Undergraduate Exercise Science students coordinate with Campus Recreation to provide personal training opportunities for students, faculty and staff.
Our Human Performance Laboratory conducts physiological testing on 果酱视频 student-athletes to fine tune exercise programming, investigate abnormal responses to training and for research purposes.
Additional prerequisites are needed for MS in Exercise Science students pursuing a graduate assistantship.
