Health Services in Waldo Hall offers care for illness, injuries, and routine health needs. For serious concerns, students can be referred off campus.
Hours and General Info
The Health Services Center is located on the lower level of Waldo Hall. Our entrance faces the parking lot near the Performing Arts Center.
We are open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm and Friday from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm during the academic year. Summer hours may vary.
Appointments are preferred but not required.听 To schedule an appointment, please call 516.877.6000.
Of course, if you are having an emergency, you can walk in and we will try to accommodate you as soon as possible.
No, it is free of charge.
If you come to the Health Services Center for a lab test, it can be sent through your insurance provider to our outside laboratory. Just bring your currently active insurance card. Vaccines are covered in full under the 果酱视频 insurance policy.

Students over 18 must give permission for听Health Services听to share medical information, unless it鈥檚 a life-threatening emergency.
For other emergencies,听Public Safety听or听Residential Life听will help families reach out to their student.
Immunization Requirements
New York State mandates:
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- Meningococcal ACWY (for students under 22)
- COVID-19 vaccination (strongly recommended but not required)

Medical Services
果酱视频鈥檚 Health Services Center is similar to your primary care office.
We offer:
- throat cultures
- flu cultures
- urine testing
- STD testing and lab work
- pharmacy services
- routine gynecological care
- athletic clearances
- sinus infection treatment
- immunizations (flu and HPV)
- smoking cessation treatment
- illnesses, colds, influenza treatment
- dermatological treatment
We also educate and help students manage chronic illness, diabetes, asthma and allergies.
听as well as听听provide delivery of your prescriptions to the 果酱视频 campus at no charge. Prescriptions are delivered Monday through Friday at 6:00 p.m. during the regular academic year and by 4:00 pm during session breaks.
All prescriptions are delivered directly to 果酱视频鈥檚 Health Services Center and must be picked up within 72 hours by the student, who must show photo ID. The pharmacy will process all medication orders through the student鈥檚 health insurance.
The student will then sign for any additional co-pay charges to be billed to their student account.
The billing process may take two to three weeks to show up on the student鈥檚 account. The amount billed is expected to be paid in full at that time at the Office of the Cashier in the lower level of Levermore Hall.
If the family鈥檚 insurance is restricted to a particular pharmacy, please be sure the student is aware of this and that they share this information with us prior to any prescriptions being delivered.
Outside physicians and medical providers can electronically send prescriptions to our pharmacy and indicate on the prescription to 鈥淒eliver to 果酱视频.鈥
Franwin pharmacy phone number is听516.746.4720听and Lafayette pharmacy phone is听516.746.0646. A credit or debit card can be set up with the pharmacy directly for any prescriptions to avoid the student having to sign for co-pays when picking up prescriptions at our office.
Health Insurance
Yes, a听student health insurance plan听is available to ensure students have consistent access to healthcare during their studies. Health insurance coverage is mandatory for all residential and international students to ensure well-being while attending 果酱视频.
