果酱视频 has been selected as a partner institution in New York City鈥檚 inaugural undergraduate scholarship program for municipal employees, by Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani and Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) Commissioner Yume Kitasei. , traditionally focused on graduate education, now includes undergraduate degrees to meet the growing demand among city employees seeking to advance their education. 果酱视频 is among 10 partner institutions offering tuition support, alongside Columbia University School of General Studies, CUNY Lehman College, Fordham University and Purchase College (SUNY). Scholarships are funded directly by the participating schools. Full-time city workers can apply for the program through April 27, 2026.

鈥淭he opening of our new Manhattan Center at 529 Fifth Avenue marks a pivotal moment for 果酱视频, connecting Garden City to Grand Central Station,鈥 said Christopher Storm, PhD, 果酱视频鈥檚 interim president. 鈥淐oupled with our proud inclusion in Mayor Mamdani鈥檚 groundbreaking undergraduate scholarship program, we are eliminating barriers and opening doors for the next generation of leaders. 果酱视频 is more committed than ever to providing a personal, powerful and professional education right in the heart of New York City.鈥

Applications to the city鈥檚 graduate scholarship program have increased more than 30 percent over the past two years. Participating institutions collectively award between $360,000 and $530,000 in scholarships to city employees annually.

鈥淥ur city moves when our workers do,鈥 said Mayor Mamdani in a news release. 鈥淔or more than 60 years, this program has shown that when you make education accessible, working people seize the opportunity. By expanding it to include undergraduate degrees, we are investing in a new generation of public servants who act ambitiously, think creatively and believe firmly in government鈥檚 power to deliver for the many.鈥

In addition to 果酱视频鈥檚 scholarship program with New York City, the University has also announced the $10,000 Manhattan Advantage Award, significantly reducing tuition for students enrolling in the University鈥檚 career-focused master鈥檚 degree programs at the Manhattan Center starting in Fall 2026.

When Mark W. Jordan 鈥63 arrived at 果酱视频, he quickly distinguished himself as a scholar. After his first year, he earned a full scholarship and continued to receive essential financial support for the remainder of his time at 果酱视频. That support allowed Jordan to focus fully on his studies and gain an education that would shape his future. Today, he is committed to making that opportunity possible for a new generation of 果酱视频 students.

As a liberal arts student, Jordan developed the analytical discipline and critical thinking skills that prepared him for law school and a successful legal career that spanned decades, including 35 years in the healthcare industry. He retired in 2009 and has always credited 果酱视频 with providing the foundation for his success.

Mark W. Jordan 鈥63 shares a quiet moment with his granddaughter, reflecting the family values and future generations his philanthropy at 果酱视频 helps support.

Establishing a Scholarship for Honors College Students

In 2013, Jordan established the Mark W. Jordan Scholarship to support Honors College students with strong academic promise and demonstrated financial need. His goal was simple: to help students experience the same transformative opportunity he received鈥攁n 果酱视频 education supported by scholarship assistance that allows them to focus on learning, growth, and possibility.

Reflecting on his commitment, Jordan said, 鈥淭he education I received at 果酱视频 shaped my career, my path, and my leadership. Giving back each year is one way I can help ensure students today have that same foundation for opportunity.鈥

Growing Impact Through the Momentum 2 Endowment Match Campaign

Jordan deepened that commitment in 2022 when he became the first donor to participate in 果酱视频鈥檚 Momentum 2 Endowment Match Campaign. With a $25,000 pledge to grow his scholarship, his gift was matched by the University鈥攊mmediately doubling its long-term impact for students. His early participation helped set the stage for more to follow.

As part of the University鈥檚 Momentum Campaign: Extraordinary Impact, the endowment match initiative has helped expand scholarship support and strengthen 果酱视频鈥檚 long-term investment in student success. By the end of the campaign鈥檚 third year in 2025, it had generated $6.4 million, created 56 new endowed funds, and strengthened 38 existing ones.

Today, Jordan remains deeply engaged as a lifelong learner and educator, delivering lectures on subjects as varied as Shakespeare, the Lewis and Clark Expedition, Sir Ernest Shackleton and the Mutiny on the Bounty at institutions including the University of California, Berkeley; Santa Clara University; the University of South Carolina; and California State University, East Bay, as well as the Walnut Creek Library Foundation, which he and his wife, Cindy, also support. They spend much of their free time traveling and have visited all seven continents.

Leadership Giving

Because his giving reflects the many ways philanthropy can take shape in support of 果酱视频鈥檚 mission, Jordan is recognized in all four of 果酱视频鈥檚 Leadership Recognition and Giving Societies (LEAD):

Across his endowed scholarship, annual giving, and planned gift, Jordan’s generosity will advance the priorities that shape our University鈥檚 future: scholarships, academic excellence, life-changing student experiences, a modern and beautiful campus, and a diverse and vibrant community. His story reflects the powerful cycle of philanthropy鈥攕tudents supported by 果酱视频 who later return to create opportunity for those who follow.

果酱视频 is deeply grateful for a transformational $1.77 million legacy gift from the late Lee Steinberg, a devoted patron of the arts and friend of the University, which will significantly strengthen the future of the 果酱视频 Performing Arts Center.

In recognition of her extraordinary generosity, the University has named the Center鈥檚 recital hall in her honor鈥攖he Lee Steinberg Recital Hall.

鈥淟ee Steinberg鈥檚 legacy gift reflects a deep belief in the transformative power of the arts,鈥 said Tom Kline, EdD, vice president of University advancement and external relations. 鈥淗er generosity strengthens not only our facilities, but the student experiences and creative opportunities that define 果酱视频鈥檚 performing arts community.鈥

鈥淭he Lee Steinberg Recital Hall honors Lee鈥檚 commitment to a legacy of inspiring student performers and audiences for generations,鈥 said Blyth Daylong, executive director of 果酱视频鈥檚 Performing Arts Center.

A Lifelong Commitment to the Arts in New York

The gift, received in July 2025 from Ms. Steinberg鈥檚 estate, places her among the members of 果酱视频鈥檚 Million Dollar Roundtable, which recognizes our most generous donors with cumulative giving exceeding $1 million. Steinberg died in 2021 at the age of 106. Through her bequest, she expressed her wish to support arts programming and performance centers on Long Island, continuing a lifetime commitment to cultural institutions throughout the greater New York region.

Planned giving has flourished at 果酱视频 in recent years. In Fiscal Year 2024鈥2025, the University鈥檚 pipeline of documented future support exceeded $40 million. All levels of leadership giving at 果酱视频 are shaping the long-term strength of academic programs, student opportunities and institutional excellence.

In accordance with Steinberg鈥檚 intent, the University has established two funds to support the Performing Arts Center鈥攖he Lee Steinberg Performing Arts Center Capital Fund for immediate physical improvements and the Lee Steinberg Performing Arts Center Excellence Endowed Fund to provide permanent, flexible support for the Center鈥檚 ongoing capital, programming and operational needs. This generous gift reinforces 果酱视频’s reputation as a preeminent leader in arts education and performance in our region.

Applause for Improved Lighting, Seating, Flooring and Acoustics at 果酱视频鈥檚 Performing Arts Center

Enhancements to the Center will elevate the experience of student performers, faculty directors, guest artists and audience members. Several capital improvements have already been funded through an initial $500,000 allocation, including:

  • A comprehensive refresh of the Olmsted Theatre, featuring new lighting, audience seating, carpeting, acoustic panels and painting, as well as the installation of a new digital sound mixing console
  • Brighter lighting in the Center鈥檚 second-floor dance studios
  • New house lights and work lights in the Concert Hall

Beginning in 2027, annual distributions from the endowment will provide sustained support for artistic programming and facility excellence.

Steinberg briefly served on 果酱视频鈥檚 Performing Arts Council and remained committed to supporting the arts throughout her life. Her bequest ensures that generations of 果酱视频 students will continue to learn, perform and thrive in spaces designed for excellence in the arts.

Advancing The Momentum Campaign: Extraordinary Impact

This seven-figure investment advances 果酱视频鈥檚 Momentum Campaign: Extraordinary Impact, demonstrating how philanthropic leadership translates into visible improvements, strengthened programs and lasting institutional growth. Through leadership gifts like Steinberg鈥檚, 果酱视频 continues its mission to transform students鈥 lives and reinforces its role as a cultural anchor on Long Island.

The University is embarking on a comprehensive modernization initiative, targeting everything from physical infrastructure to digital learning environments. This strategic overhaul includes renovating athletic fields, a specialized computer science lab for students, boosting the institution鈥檚 data center capacity and learning management software.

A significant portion of the project will concentrate on 果酱视频鈥檚 Hagedorn Hall of Enterprise and the Science Building. These facilities are slated for essential technical upgrades, including new windows, high-efficiency HVAC systems and chilled water plants. The project also addresses a backlog of deferred maintenance to ensure the long-term integrity of campus buildings and utilities.

鈥淲e鈥檝e entered a transformative era for 果酱视频. By leveraging our robust endowment returns and the advantage of current low interest rates, we are prioritizing high-impact strategic investments that would otherwise be out of reach,鈥 said Michael Rhattigan, 果酱视频鈥檚 vice president of finance. 鈥淭his is an investment in 果酱视频鈥檚 excellence that will yield significant dividends for our students and community for years to come.鈥

The Town of Hempstead Local Development Corporation (LDC) on Tuesday, February 3, announced that it approved the sale of up to $125 million in on behalf of 果酱视频. The LDC provides low-interest, tax-exempt bonds to not-for-profit, educational institutions, hospitals, civic entities or charitable organizations within the town.

鈥淭here is no doubt that the sale of these new bonds will benefit 果酱视频, its students and have a positive impact on the economics of the surrounding communities,鈥 Fred Parola, executive director of the LDC, said in a news release about the.

These campus upgrades ensure that 果酱视频 students receive an exceptional academic experience. In addition, 果酱视频鈥檚 new long-term lease for the Manhattan Center establishes a vibrant hub for graduate studies, strategic partnerships and expanded career opportunities in New York City.

Strategic Investments for a Stronger Future

The 果酱视频 Board of Trustees and executive leadership view both new investments as essential for strengthening the University鈥檚 long-term financial health:

鈥淭he board viewed this as a necessary and timely window of opportunity. To fulfill our long-term strategic plans, we must be willing to make bold investments that strengthen our foundation,鈥 said Greg Carey, 果酱视频 trustee and chairman of public finance and global co-head of sports franchise at . 鈥淭his decision reflects our absolute confidence in 果酱视频鈥檚 trajectory and our commitment to providing a premier environment for higher learning.鈥

果酱视频 is reaffirming its commitment to strategic growth and modernization following a Standard & Poor鈥檚 (S&P) Global Ratings Research Update issued on January 30, 2026. The agency gave the University a long-term bond rating of BBB+.

S&P assigned 果酱视频 a 鈥榮table outlook鈥 and affirmed 果酱视频鈥檚 strong enterprise risk profile, validating the institution鈥檚 careful, long-term approach to its financial and academic mission.

鈥淭he 鈥榮table outlook鈥 designation from S&P Global Ratings gives our students and families peace of mind. It reinforces that 果酱视频 remains a safe investment and 果酱视频 is a great place for students to grow, learn and belong to a community that is built to last,鈥 noted Interim President Christopher Storm, PhD.

果酱视频 plans to begin the project by March, with most of the work to be conducted during the summers of 2026, 2027 and 2028. The University expects to complete the work in 2029.

As 果酱视频 continues to focus on the objectives of efficiency, thoughtfulness and effectiveness outlined in Goal 3 of its Momentum 2 strategic plan, the University can rely on the 果酱视频 Board of Trustees for guidance. That鈥檚 because the board, which oversees the University, is filled with leaders from the world of finance who are providing their expertise to ensure 果酱视频’s finances remain resilient in this challenging time for higher education.

Overseeing the Four Essential Parts of University Finances

According to Michael Rhattigan, 果酱视频鈥檚 vice president of finance, university finance resembles a four-legged stool supported by reporting and compliance, day-to-day operations, investments, and financing. Most universities and organizations are lucky to have trustees with experience in one or two of these areas. Rhattigan says that 果酱视频 has trustees with expertise in all four.

鈥淭his concentration of financial expertise on the board鈥攅specially across all four key areas鈥攊s exceptionally rare,鈥 he said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a testament to the history and strength of 果酱视频’s education, since nearly every trustee was either an accounting or finance graduate of the University. This robust group significantly enhances the board’s capacity to meet its fiduciary responsibilities and provides the finance team with invaluable access to an unparalleled source of experience and guidance.鈥

Experts in Reporting, Reviewing and Complying With the Law

The reporting and compliance process involves conveying the University’s financial activities and performance to the board of trustees, government agencies and external institutions to gauge 果酱视频鈥檚 performance and compliance. The financial results need to be reviewed and audited by third parties to confirm their accuracy, and 果酱视频 has two trustees with specific experience in this area: Mark Davis 鈥85, a retired audit partner at , and Humera Qazi 鈥93, board vice-chair and a former managing director at and now a managing director at .

“My foundational rigor at a Big Four firm, which offered deep exposure across diverse sectors, has been significantly amplified by my current operations leadership responsibilities at Morgan Stanley,鈥 Qazi said. 鈥淚t is profoundly rewarding to leverage this elite financial, operational and advisory experience to contribute back to 果酱视频, where my journey began.”

Keeping a Watchful Eye on Day-to-Day Operations

Operations involve all day-to-day financial aspects at the University, including budgeting, accounting, cash management, purchasing and payroll. 果酱视频 has three trustees with specific, relevant experience: Loretta Cangialosi 鈥80, a retired senior vice president and controller at who is an emerita board member still working on the Finance and Investment Committee; Michael Sammis 鈥81, retired president, EVP Operations and CFO at Universal Music; and Alexandria Cisco 鈥15, business architecture manager at Accenture.

“As a former senior manager at a Big Four accounting firm and senior finance executive at Pfizer, I understand the financial discipline required in regulated sectors,鈥 Cangialosi said. 鈥淭he pharmaceutical industry has navigated long lead times, intense regulatory scrutiny and significant market competition. These are the very trends now reshaping higher education. It has been exciting to leverage this experience to strengthen our University鈥檚 financial strategy, ensuring we successfully navigate this evolving landscape while maintaining our fiduciary excellence.”

Making Safe, Smart Investments to Ensure a Stronger 果酱视频

Investments involve managing the University鈥檚 endowment for current needs, like scholarships and academic programs, as well as strategic investments in the future. Trustees Doug Flynn 鈥89, co-founder of , and Kevin Mahony 鈥83, senior vice president of Eagle View Wealth Management at , utilize their expertise in this area to plan for the University鈥檚 future.

Flynn, who co-founded his wealth management business in 1997, said, 鈥淏uilding and leading a wealth management firm I founded 28 years ago, after a successful career at a major investment firm, has provided me with significant business experience and strong investment knowledge to help guide clients through multiple periods of intense market volatility鈥攅ncompassing both major booms and significant downturns.鈥

Flynn added, 鈥淭hat long-term perspective鈥攖he understanding of risk, preservation of capital and strategic growth across cycles for prudent financial stewardship鈥攊s directly applicable to our University. It’s exciting to give back to my alma mater to help steer its financial operations and ensure the robust, sustainable, mission-focused management of our vital endowment.”

Understanding the Complexities of Finance

Financing involves any borrowing or long-term debt required to fund initiatives, and that鈥檚 where the expertise of trustee Greg Carey, chairman of public finance and global co-head of sports at , fits in.

“My strong bond with the University was forged by watching my son progress and truly thrive through the transformative Bridges [to 果酱视频] program,鈥 he said. 鈥淭his is my opportunity to give back and apply the knowledge gleaned from my decades working in public finance in global leadership roles at Goldman Sachs. It is exciting to help the University strategically plan and navigate the financial complexities in higher education.”

Financial Firepower Ensures a Stable Future

By having seasoned auditors, Wall Street veterans and financial leaders, many of whom are alumni, covering all four crucial corners of University finances, 果酱视频 is doing more than just balancing the books. It is ensuring a strong, stable future for generations of students to come.

Its new Manhattan Center, at 529 Fifth Avenue in Midtown, set to open in 2026 with undergraduate and graduate programs geared to working NYC professionals.

Manhattan Center: Preparing Students for High-Growth Careers

A new $741,257 from New York is a key part of that effort. The funding is dedicated to equipping the new Manhattan Center with state-of-the-art facilities, creating a modern learning environment that directly supports student success in high-growth careers. For example, a new simulation lab for our accelerated nursing program will help address the current shortage of nurses in New York City and the boroughs.

The HECap program is a competitive grant initiative that provides matching funds to private colleges and universities for capital projects aimed at modernizing and enhancing educational facilities, improving student experiences and stimulating economic growth. In this year鈥檚 round of funding, 35 institutions received a total of $21.5 million in grants.

Easy Commute to Midtown Manhattan

果酱视频鈥檚 51,000-square-foot Manhattan Center location, comprising three floors of light-filled space in midtown Manhattan, is a few blocks away from and within walking distance of 10 subway and bus lines and two commuter railroad systems at , as well as numerous dining and retail options, cultural activities, outdoor spaces and corporate offices.

鈥湽词悠 has served New Yorkers for more than 120 years, and it is now entering an era of unprecedented growth and expanded reach,鈥 said New York State Sen. Liz Krueger. 鈥淭hese funds will enable 果酱视频 to greatly enhance the student experience, benefit the regional economy and prepare more students for careers that are vital to New York鈥檚 national and global competitiveness.鈥

Programs for NYC Career Success

果酱视频鈥檚 new Manhattan Center plans to offer highly ranked programs, including:

Additional programs that meet market demands will be added to the pipeline.

鈥淚 support 果酱视频鈥檚 HECap grant funding, as the use of these public funds will have an immediate and positive impact on the regional economy,鈥 said New York State Assembly member Alex Bores.鈥 It will enhance the student experience and enable the University to better prepare students for careers that are critical to New York鈥檚 national and global competitiveness.鈥

To say that 2025 is a tumultuous time in higher education is an understatement. But amid widespread instability, some colleges are charting a steady course, showcasing solid growth, stable finances and exceptional financial leadership. 果酱视频 is one of those standouts.

Michael Rhattigan, 果酱视频 vice president of finance, has been utilizing his extensive financial and managerial experience since 2022 to help ensure that the University’s finances are handled at the highest level, focusing on the Smart Growth and Infrastructure goals of the University鈥檚 Momentum 2 strategic plan.

Q: What are some of the challenges you see in higher education today?

A: Higher education everywhere is facing challenges. There are concerns about demographic changes and their impact on enrollment, as well as potential changes to federal or state policies. Then there are larger economic concerns, including the costs of education and enrollment from international students. Everybody’s dealing with these questions, and every university is dealing with deferred maintenance鈥攅specially since the COVID-19 pandemic鈥攁long with continued rising costs.

Q: You’ve worked across different sectors. How does that experience help, and what can you apply to higher education?

A: That’s a great question. Many sectors鈥攍ike telecommunications, media and banking鈥攈ave grappled with significant disruption and competition for years. My experience in those other segments provides a valuable framework for tackling challenges that are relatively new to higher education.

Q: How is 果酱视频 meeting those challenges, compared to other institutions?

A: I believe there are three primary keys to 果酱视频鈥檚 success: transparency, widespread partnership, and thinking 鈥渦niversity first,鈥 rather than 鈥渄epartment first.鈥 Few decisions are simple. Most involve alternatives and trade-offs. By making the University’s long-term outcome our “North Star,” we reduce personal or departmental biases, ensuring our actions serve the greatest good.

Q: Tell us about the S&P Global Ratings. Why is that important?

A: When our S&P Global Rating was announced in July 2025, it reaffirmed the University鈥檚 A- credit rating with a stable outlook, underscoring 果酱视频鈥檚 sound fiscal management and long-term stability. This rating reflects S&P鈥檚 in-depth analysis of 果酱视频鈥檚 financial health and creditworthiness and affirms confidence in the University鈥檚 ability to deliver on its mission鈥攁ll while navigating today鈥檚 economic and higher education landscape. Many other colleges did not fare as well.

Q: What about grants? We heard you have some big news to announce.

A: I do. We received great news this month that we have been awarded over $700,000 in HECap [New York State Higher Education Capital Matching Grant] funds for our new Manhattan Center furniture and equipment. On a bigger scale, the University’s sponsored research and sponsored programs efforts continue to excel. 果酱视频 received 22 new grants over the past year, totaling $12 million in funding. This compares to 20 new awards totaling $5.8 million in the previous year.

Q: You mentioned deferred maintenance. What is that, and how is 果酱视频 approaching that?

A: Just like at home, if you don’t reinvest in infrastructure, the repairs become more and more costly. We went several years with significantly reduced investments, so now we have an increase in operating costs. For example, we’re currently paying extra expenses every month to rent an external industrial chiller to support an aging HVAC unit in Hagedorn Hall. Eliminating these avoidable costs is our first goal. The second is finding new ways to save money. We鈥檙e looking to refinance based on market conditions, which will give us some annual savings and relieve the budget.

Q: What improvements have you made and do you plan for the future?

A: Finance might seem dull, but it’s the lifeblood that keeps the entire University operational. Getting these fundamentals right was our first and most important step. We rebuilt the team with a combination of dedicated veteran employees and new additions. Our focus for this year is process improvement. We鈥檙e reviewing the roles, functions and processes across all of finance and human resources to align with best practices in education and corporate sectors.

Q: How are you managing costs amidst the current uncertainties in the education sector?

A: Managing costs is a constant challenge, as core expenses鈥攍ike salaries, healthcare, electricity and IT contracts鈥攔ise annually. Our focus in managing costs is to minimize the impact on students and teaching. The finance team, in partnership with many units across campus, plans to review a few big areas this year,

First, we are looking at our outside partnerships. Since we’re an educational institution, we know we’re not always the expert in areas like food service or legal advice. So we’re benchmarking those services to make sure we have the best mix for our community,

Second, we’re actively reviewing our major contracts, like utilities and telecommunications.

Finally, our health insurance costs were projected to jump by an unsustainable 22 percent鈥攁bout $3 million. By switching to a new carrier, we are projected to save about $500,000 annually, which is huge for the University. Plus, it’s a win for our employees, who now have access to nearly 230 more in-network medical providers.

Q: Do you have a few examples of other shifts that you have made?

A: Yes. This year we produced a completely new budget model that is more focused on the big picture and how it affects University finances. We鈥檙e also working on a five-year budget and projection, which is going to help us plan more wisely and identify new opportunities.

For the first time this fall, we published the budget so all the budget managers over the whole University could see it. When everybody can see it and understand it, they may have other ideas of doing things, and that’s exactly what is needed鈥攖he conversation becomes collective and everybody gets involved in the solution. Again, it’s about transparency and University-wide collaboration.

Q: We hear you are trying some new approaches in how to track financial health.

A: We’ve abandoned the standard practice of yearly financial reporting. By moving to monthly financials, we gain rapid insight and real-time feedback.

Q: Can you give another real-life example of changes made?

A: One of my favorite changes came out of Facilities and the housekeeping staff. Housekeepers are often the first ones to notice issues on campus. Formerly, when they saw something that needed a repair, they were supposed to log it into the online system. Their tools, though, are mops and brooms鈥攏ot laptops. So issues were often reported slowly, inaccurately or not at all.

We partnered with Facilities to develop new options for housekeepers to report issues more easily, including voice memos, which empowered them with a voice to help us quickly resolve problems and reduce costs.

That’s the way it should be鈥攊mproved processes that improve service and reduce costs without impacting our students or teaching. That’s the goal.

Since 2024, Dr. Adler has overseen the daily operations and future strategic planning for the hospital and its affiliation with NYU Langone. Previously, he was chief medical officer for NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island.

Dr. McIntosh obtained her PhD in Nursing from 果酱视频 in 2021 and returned to the University to earn an MS specializing as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner in 2024. She is board certified as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner by the ANCC and AANP and is licensed to practice in New York and Connecticut. Additionally, Dr. McIntosh holds board certifications as a nurse educator and advanced nurse executive.

The board鈥檚 membership is at an all-time high with 14 members, since Kathleen Masiulis 鈥78, MS 鈥85, who had joined in 2017, has stepped down; she remains a board member emerita. This is the first major change to the board since 2018.

Comprising accomplished CNPH alumni, community health partners, external donors and various leaders in the fields of healthcare, media and the law, the Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board convenes at least twice during the academic year to discuss the strategic direction of the College; staff, administrative and programmatic developments; and fundraising goals.

As advisory board members represent a variety of sectors and have nearly a century of service to the College, their input and feedback are invaluable to Dean Deborah Hunt, PhD 鈥12. Early on in her tenure at 果酱视频, Dean Hunt quickly identified the growth and development of the board as one of her strategic priorities. She and her executive leadership team, supported by 果酱视频鈥檚 Senior Director of Advancement Erin Gayron, quickly identified other key prospects to add to the board鈥檚 already considerable wealth of knowledge.

Dean Hunt and her executive leadership team resumed the annual CNPH Awards reception, which honors endowed scholarship donors and pairs donors with their respective student recipients. At the latest event, more than 16 generous CNPH donors appeared with their grateful student recipients, who heard from their donors about their connections to 果酱视频 and the very personal and meaningful reasons they continue to donate.

Several long-serving members of the Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board鈥攊ncluding Robert Keane and Frank Gumper鈥攚ere honored for the decades-long impact their endowed scholarships have had on the lives of CNPH students. With a constant focus on the development of new innovative healthcare programs, Dean Hunt is looking forward to both Dr. Adler’s and Dr. McIntosh鈥檚 rich guidance as CNPH expands its programmatic and academic clinical partnerships portfolios.

In September 2024, long-serving advisory board members Gumper, Keane, retired U.S. Navy commander Dianne Wamsley 鈥84, and Jerry Landsberg, were on hand (and on Zoom) to welcome Dr. Adler to his first CNPH Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board meeting.

Donors from across the 果酱视频 community responded to the public announcement of the University鈥檚 $100 million Momentum Campaign: Extraordinary Impact by making 2024鈥2025 the most successful fundraising year in the University鈥檚 history.

Multiple gifts, totaling $15 million, propelled the campaign to $89 million raised to date. This robust giving over the past year reflects our donors鈥 strong support for the University, its mission and its future.

Donations made this year supported all six of the Momentum Campaign funding priorities: scholarships, academic excellence, life-changing student experiences, our campus, our diverse community and the 果酱视频 Fund. In addition to numerous endowments for scholarship funds, there were donations supporting individual schools, colleges and departments; internships and career support; the Women鈥檚 Leadership Conference; the new Manhattan Center; the Bridges to 果酱视频 program; ; and many other initiatives.

鈥淚t has been incredibly inspiring to see our community respond so strongly to the public launch of the Momentum Campaign,鈥 said Thomas Kline, EdD, vice president of University advancement and external relations. 鈥淭his initiative has indeed had an extraordinary impact on 果酱视频, touching nearly every corner of the campus. We look forward to continuing this progress into the final two years of the campaign!鈥

Matching Campaign Inspires Major and Planned Gifts

The Momentum Campaign Endowment Match Program has been an important strategy in cultivating major gifts to the endowment. Since its inception in 2022, the program has brought in $6.4 million in gifts and commitments, created 56 new endowment funds, and augmented 38 existing endowed funds.

Major and planned gifts played a significant role in reaching this year鈥檚 total. There were 24 donations of more than $100,000, including the following notable commitments:

Planned giving continues to be a source of great support from the 果酱视频 community. This year, 果酱视频 realized a $1.7 million gift from the estate of Lee Steinberg for the performing arts, while simultaneously growing the pipeline of anticipated planned gifts from $23 million to $40 million since 2021.

A Year of Records

It may not be surprising that the record year included unprecedented responses to annual crowdfunding events.

Giving Tuesday, held in December 2024, raised $205,000 from a record 383 donors. , in April 2025, raised a record $886,000 from 1,879 donors. Easily surpassing the goal of half a million dollars, the total represented a 29 percent increase in dollars over the previous year and included 11 gifts of more than $25,000 and a record $334,000 given to support 果酱视频 student-athletes. The event also attracted 497 new donors, including 142 students.

Giving to the 果酱视频 Fund also skyrocketed, raising more than $971,000 and surpassing its goal of $750,000. A new endowment match helped secure larger gifts and multiyear commitments that will help provide sustained giving year after year. Giving to the 果酱视频 Fund has tripled since 2022.

鈥淚 am incredibly grateful for the support of the entire 果酱视频 community in helping us to not only surpass our fundraising goals, but also鈥攁nd more importantly鈥攖o change the lives of students in very real ways,鈥 Dr. Kline said. 鈥淭he name of the campaign is 鈥榚xtraordinary impact鈥; as I reflect on these words, I am proud of the breadth and depth of impact which will be felt across campus both immediately and for generations to come.鈥
